Different Ways of Learning Empty Different Ways of Learning

People learn in different ways. Some people learn by doing things;
other people learn by reading about things; others learn by listening
to people talk about things. Which of these methods of learning is
best for you? Use specific examples to support your choice.

Different Ways of Learning Empty Re: Different Ways of Learning

Post by pass*word Tue Jan 11 2011, 19:19

hello,
first of all, i thank u for this topic!
subjectively speaking, i have all these strategies in learning, but reading is the most effective way, because whenever i read i discover new words that automaticly i check their meaning in different contexts, also some expressions used specificly for some purposes that give an idea abt, sometimes, exceptions and so on.also i don't read whatever ,instead i choose what i need or what really inspire me to produce from this reading ( it's some how a kind of recycling) as if i am doing something fruitful for my language in first place nd for my cognitive capacities in second place.
in general, different ways of learning are more personal procedure that depends on personality nd all what helps the individual to assimilate intelligently what he needs for nd not what is imposed for him as an obligation (for that reason we all hate exams because we should pass them, otherwise we miss the chance to pass to the superior level ).
another point that is so important to be mentioned, the student is by nature intelligent (with degrees) that he can go further par rapport what he thinks capabe of, but the problem is: is he ready to overcome nd resist what he doesn't want to learn abt ? for example; we know that literature is not a waste of time nd it is that essentiel in our cursus, but we dont want to crash our heads, so we say literature is HARD!
i am pretty sure that i won't stop writing abt this interesting topic, but i ll limit my reflexion by adding just one factor that has a ajor impact in learning which is MOTIVATION.

I learn better when listening to music, because it keeps me consontrating on what Im doing. If Im in a calm place, I would be busy by other things!! For eg: if Im in a library, I will observe what others are doing!! If someone dropped his pen, I will follow him and observe how he'll act!!! Im crazy!!That's why better to be in my room, with headsets, listening to anything!! Smile
